Usage and performanse

After a while of using V550 Nano in our daily routines, we found the mouse easy to use and precise. Clip really does it’s job and for those who tend to carry their laptop frequently, it will make business a bit easier. Nano receiver is really a remarkable thing - it’s really “set-and-forget”, can stay plugged in while you are putting notebook in your bag and the signal quality is excellent.

In everyday applications and while surfing the web, the mouse proved to be a proud member of Logitech family - it’s precise, comfortable to use and very precise, thanks to great engineering and laser technology. Even playing computer games wasn’t an issue.

Microgear tilt wheel is also another great thing about this mouse, although lack of classic wheel button was a bit troubling for us for the first few days of use. The thing is, many users use wheel button to open pages in new tab in Mozilla Firefox and other web browsers, while on this mouse (and other with titl wheel), this cannot be done. Still, the Microgear wheel compensate this with stellar performanse and ability to scroll down the PDF files and long website in a matter of seconds.

Conclusion

The Logitech V550 Nano merges good old Logitech features with the new ones, making it an impressive piece of equipment. Nano receiver, Microgear switch and extremely long battery life is acompanied with clipping feature that makes life a bit more easier. The size is a bit larger that the other notebook mice on the market, but it makes up with solid ergonomics and ambidextrous design. As of this writing, we can easily conclude that Logitech is right on track in making the best mice on the planet.
