I’ve only been to a game store twice this week, but I’ve heard preorders for the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack both times. The game is not due out until November 13th, but that’s not stopping WoW gamers from getting the jump.

Amazon is sold out of the Limited Edition:

As you may know, the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Collector’s Edition is in great demand, and there are limited quantities of this product across the U.S. Currently we are sold out of this product, but are working hard to secure more.

Wrath of the Lich King ended up being the single best selling title across all platforms in the US this week at Amazon.com. Gamasutra says that gamers are in a frenzy after Blizzard’s announcement that preorders would soon be closed.

As for games that are actually out and available, Amazon listed Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (PC), Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PSP, PS3, and Xbox 360) and Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen (DS) among the top sellers this week.
